To reflect means to think deeply or carefully about something. It is when you spend time to make a thoughtful decision or think about your actions and reactions to things that have happened or where you'd like to go in life. Reflecting is taking a pause and looking at a situation from a different perspective. It can be as simple as making a conscious effort to think about things and how they have affected you and how you can learn from them. A great and simple way to reflect is to write in a journal each night to write down your thoughts, feelings, and goals. Or go to your favorite place and just be, freeing your mind from distractions. You'll feel a sense of calmness and gain a new perspective on things in your life. Just as your reflection looks back at you, when you make it a point to reflect you are taking a deep look inside yourself and that can lead to being a better you.
