Hey Katie! Thanks so much for chatting with us! Tell us a little about yourself… age, where you live, what you do, etc.

        I am 26 years old and live in Orange County, CA! I am a personal trainer who also does online coaching!

What are your biggest skin care concerns? How do you overcome them?

I've never had crazy concerns with my skin care honestly and I am so beyond grateful for that! I will randomly get a blemish here and there, but that’s mostly probably because I workout and sweat all the time! I feel like because I do have such an active lifestyle, washing my face every morning and night as well as finding products that work is so important!

Since you’re always working out in the gym, getting super sweaty do you get acne breakouts on your back? We’ve noticed we breakout using mats without a towel, but applying the Clay Mask on back breakouts does wonders to heal them!

I am actually pretty dang lucky and have never experienced any back acne. I do totally get how that could happen. I usually just get breakouts whenever I do workout with makeup on. But I try to limit that as much as I can! Even when I do get a breakout on my face, this Clay Mask absolutely does help heal them!

How do you incorporate the Clay Mask into your skin care routine?

I love doing face masks a couple of nights a week! If I accidentally worked out with makeup on, I will wash my face that night and then put on the Clay Mask to help avoid any breakouts that might happen! And it’s honestly been such an amazing mask for both active breakouts as well as preventative care! Or if there is a blemish about to pop up, I will apply that to the blemish and it'll be gone in no time!


We know fitness is a huge part of your life, both mentally, physically, and for work, but how else do you take care of yourself on a deeper level (what do you do to stay active, healthy, centered, and embrace your natural beauty?)

Finding time for yourself is the most important thing anyone can do for themselves. Self care is essential for a healthy lifestyle. I workout 5-6 times per week, I love taking my pup on long walks as well as to the beach! I also enjoy taking care of myself by getting a facial, giving myself a face mask at home while enjoying a glass of wine or even getting my nails done for self care. Taking care of yourself both physically and mentally each and every day is so important.

Any last words or advice?!

I want every woman (or even man) to know that how you take care of yourself is SO important. Invest in yourself and do things that make you feel good! Having a great self care regimen will improve your quality of life so much more!
